Well, that was one short chapter!

Well, maybe not. Frankly, I've gotta say, I really like how I got the special effects in this page to come out, what with the shading, focus and the portal in the background. I've been teaching myself to use GIMP, recently, and it's coming along great. Though, touch-ups in Paint are still necessary. Mostly for organizing the panels.

Special thanks to Kishmond of DeviantART for setting up the sky background!

That was the whole chapter? Dude, I though it was only the introduction, can you call that even a chapter?!?!?! It was only Lugbzurg saying "CRAPCRAPCRAP" and then he just crashed and the chapter ended? SHORTEST CHAPTER EVER.

I did read :l

The chapter is just like this less or more:

"OH I'M SORRY I FAILED OH NO NO NO NO NO NO"

"OH GOD I'M FALLING THROUGH A PORTAL NO TIME TO THINK ABOUT FAILURE"

"OH GOD IT ALL COMES TO AN END OH GOD OH CRAP AND I'M FALLING OH GOD"

And the whole chapter was only 2 pages, 3 if you want to count the chapter cover.

If webcomics had a comic book version, you'll be able to read this whole chapter by just opening the book.

And by the way. I meant 20% cooler than previous versions of My Little Pony.

It's the new Friendship is Magic by Lauren Faust that's so rockin' awesome. I'm not skilled enough to make this better than her work! I'm still young! Whereas she's got YEARS of professional, high-end experience!

@Lugbzurg: He's this guy on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com that hosts a show called "Familiar Faces", where he talks about obscure characters in TV series.

He had 2 special MLP episodes, because he wanted to show his audience how the series started, why the new one was made, and why he was a fan. The first part was about G1-G3. The second part was about G4.

@greenpowerstar: For The Cutie Mark ChroniclesM/i>, it was the lesson. Absolutely ridiculous. You do not have any connection with your friends BEFORE you've met them. That just doesn't happen, and I have no idea why that was considered an educational life lesson.

Feeling Pinkie Keen has a similar problem. Not only does the "lesson" make no sense, but Twilight goes from "This isn't true" to "Ok, I believe you, now" in, like, two seconds. All doubt just vanished like that.

Putting Your Hoof Down needed a little more in the ending by having Fluttershy and Iron Will not be pretty much arguing, but having Fluttershy explain why she wasn't satisfied. She should have explained why the training didn't work for her (it was terrorizing everypony around her), rather than making it look like she was ripping him off to get free training. Then, he just sat there and took with no explanation given to him, making Iron Will come off as a doormat. (IRONY)

People have said that The Return of Harmony seemed the most problematic for coming off as "incomplete". I disagree. These episodes seemed the most problematic for me.

(See, anti-pony people? We're not all crazy. Some of us can actually criticize something we like!)

@Lugbzurg: It's supposed to be a Luma... I don't know what happened...

Anyway, turns out he already knew Sonic Paradox were bronies, as well as the show being so popular. When I asked him about it, he said, "Just because I don't like the show, doesn't mean I hate the fans. You and a whole lot of other gamers like Pokèmon, I don't. That doesn't mean I hate you."

I learned a good lesson that day. True friends don't only care about what you like and dislike, they care about the person.

@Lugbzurg: Nooo, Feeling Pinkie Keen was about Twilight trying to explain the phenomenon of Pinkie Sense, and then deciding that some things don't need an explanation. Although, I'd have to agree that she DID change her mind rather quickly.

As for Cutie Mark Chronicles... I always kind of figured the fact that Rainbow's Sonic Rainboom led to all of the mane six getting their cutie marks was just a bizarre coincidence. Plus, it was sweet without being too sappy. And it also gave an explanation of sorts for why the CMC were huddling under a table together near the end of the first episode, despite not having met yet.

Putting your Hoof Down... well, I thought it was a good idea. Fluttershy accepted that she was to blame for her actions, and Iron Will wasn't painted as a complete douchebag. It WOULD'VE been nice if Fluttershy had given some sort of explanation, but, again, that would've made it seem like she was blaming him for her taking the training a little too far.

Based on what you said, though, you don't seem to really HATE those three episodes. And I, for one, kind of, sort of liked "Mare-Do-Well." I just thought that it could've been executed better (for example, it's implied that the rest of the mane six figured out that the Mare-Do-Well thing was making Dash neurotic and even more desperate for attention, and so they arranged things so that the reveal would be away from any other pony, but nothing of the sort is stated within the episode itself.)

@Jarkes: Well, for Feeling Pinkie Keen, it seemed a bit like she was saying "If you can't figure something out in less than 8 hours or so, you should just give up and accept whatever explanation."

As for The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, I think you just inferred that. It wasn't really implied, and we can't be completely certain that they intended to reveal to Rainbow right then and there, but it happened.

I like how they're expanding on concepts, though. The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well seemed to branch off a bit from Boast Busters and, as I'm sure everypony immediately thought, Putting Your Hoof Down from Sonic Rainboom, though, not it's actual lesson.
