Augh! Pinkie Pie! I'm telling you, there's something rather significant about that thing!

So, anyway, I got some better background ponies, this time. Now, we don't look like were walking through some sort of biohazard or fallout. (Though, I do have a pony in a hazmat suit!)

Pinkie Pie still isn't happy, as evidenced by Likonan's graphic of her. Waranto takes this further, while RandomTMCR just flips everything around and shows us how much Pinkie Pie loves to confuse us and be a bit of a tease.

So, anyway, here's someone else you've probably never heard of, who's only got one eye in view at this point...

Now, for the background ponies. Oh, boy... This is gonna be a big one... *inhales*

Gasp, a mysterious pony! And the reference in the last comic is now pointless!

Also, I quickly caught up on all the FiM Season 2 episodes I missed (Episodes 15-20) and I think Hasbro's been stalking me. There are a LOT of similarities between episodes and my life events.

It's kind of creepy.

@clasby333: Not yet. Well, aside from being a background pony sometime, for a while.

@greenpowerstar: To put it in simple terms, I needed something slightly attention-grabbing for it to make sense when she showed up. If she was just sort of "there", it wouldn't run as smoothly. Besides, anything to say "He is coming! Just you wait!"

@lern2surture: This pony looks like Cloud Kicker, or one of the background ponies has had that name, before? Actually, I thought that once I took the colors of this one to black (she's not really jet-black), she looked kind of like Rainbow Dash.

@Inxerene: I remember seeing that pony in the McDonald's Commercial. They've got Transformers for the boys and My Little Pony for the men!

@greenpowerstar: "Gasp, a mysterious pony!" How long ago would it have been for you to look at that sentence and think whoever said that was completely off their rocker?

Anyways, I did that so that there'd be a reason for the "mysterious pony" (whom I had dubbed as the "cosmic pony" until I got her actual name down) to notice me and Pinkie Pie. Something had to actually happen to catch her attention.

Observation...

@greenpowerstar:

I'm just going to throw my two cents in, not because I'm bored, but because I like to pretend I live in the real world.

Yes, falling out of a portal in the sky would probably gather about as much attention as an advertisement on television. That being said of 1600 television commercials aired in a day only 2 are likely to catch the attention of an audience. In fact, the chances of being spotted from the ground, in a free fall of terminal velocity, at all, is an even more unlikely than spotting a fly zipping across a billboard.

Line of sight having an average blind spot where an object is less likely to be noticed about eight feet above and bellow, The only reason he might have been spotted at all would be either because of a sonic boom, or less likely a light show as bright as the sun. However, Since Rainbow or Rapid dash (sorry don't know the name) is an avian pony. I suspect there was a greater possibility of being seen by her first, and then likely by her friends.

@GabrielsThoughts: Yeah, something like that. Actually, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. There was a fire nearby my house, not too long ago, and I didn't even notice until someone pointed it out, all frantic-like. And, yes, her name is "Rainbow Dash". A "Rapidash" is some kind of Pokémon.

Bull, the TARDIS has a perception filter preventing anyone from noticing anything out of the ordinary about a blue police box.

@AuraX: No. It doesn't. Not in the slightest. Haven't you noticed that there have been several episodes in which random people off the street have seen it and known what it was?

What about when that one guy who joined a club made that "video blog episode", only to get his friends gobbled up by some blobby dude? Or how about when Torchwood stole it? There have been several instances where it has been noticed by people who have never even touched it. There is no perception filter in that thing.

It does, however, have a filter that translates virtually every language, both spoken and written (I'm not so sure about motions, though).

@Jarkes: MUCH better than the last one. I recall Mrs. Faust mentioning a long time ago that ponies know next-to-nothing about dragons, so, it was no surprise to me when Twilight couldn't find anything about them.

However, it did seem a bit odd to me that both Spike and Fluttershy have both faced Discord and numerous other dangerous entities, yet, were so terrified of ordinary dragons that wouldn't be able to do much to them.

Oh, yeah. I also got done all my custom graphics. You'll see what I'm talking about in due time. Especially when the plot truly kicks in...

There is actually a perception filter; it has been mentioned in a few episodes as well as the Torchwood spin-off.

It's only if people are looking for it in particular that they notice it's out of the ordinary and actually bother with it.

And about the dragon thing, to be fair, they were actually scared of Discord, and in the end they actually knew quite a bit about him, in contrast to hardly knowing anything about dragons. Fear of the unknown and all that.

And Love and Monsters was terrible.

@AuraX: Clearly, that device has been long since broken, along with whatever that was that was supposed to shape-shift the TARDIS, only to have it snap when it was disguised as a Public Call Police Box.

Also, are you saying you have less to fear over a reality-bending lord of chaos that doesn't like you, as opposed to a small pack of small, teenage dragons when you can whip butt so easily?

@Lugbzurg:
Let's not forget that Fluttershy had no fear up against Discord, but the dragon migration? Which had Twilight's shielding magic? That was too much for her, and wanted to run away to the extent of JUMPING ON HER CHILDHOOD FRIEND.

And it technically still works in some fashion, since it was what let Torchwood's secret lift unseeable. You'll have no idea what that part means unless you watch the first episode of Torchwood. It did have some weird ideas at the start, though. I can't take episode 2's villain seriously too this day, and I can't mention it here because I assume you want this to be PG.

@AuraX: I'd say both had equal possibility of "Twilight's shielding magic".

And there have been numerous accounts of insignificant pedestrians happening to notice the TARDIS and knowing what it was. Even outside of Torchwood. Several times. Clearly, that device broke a long time ago.
