Yes, Pinkie... If Twilight didn't like the popsicle you made of her, I'm sure she'll love the one of her being eaten by a shark. It's just logical... -_-'

Last bit of Pinkie Pie's little flashback scene, here. Normal, better visuals are coming for certain in the next page! Normal visuals... and somepony's return...!

I have also uploaded my LAST of the "Standing with X" pictures. This is the last of the bunch; a guy who can turn invisible.

The Reimagine Pony graphics were designed by BB-Kenobi. The Reimagine Lugbzurg graphic was made by myself, using a base provided by BB-Kenobi, as well. Both popsicles were custom-made by Adiwan. The both of them are from DeviantART.

@greenpowerstar: I find it rather strange that last week's page was about Pinkie Pie telling an inaccurate story... and last week's episode was about Pinkie Pie telling three inaccurate stories!

But, we have no new ponies, today.
Oh, well. At least we got the premiere of Avatar: The Legend of Korra!

Alright everypony. I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that, I'm not sure if this has aired already since the edit happened, but, I just looked at The Last Roundup on TV, and they still have Derpy not being named and using the cocky-sounding voice. Oddly, enough, the captions still said "Now, careful, Derpy".

The good news is that, in a music video within the new episode that aired today of The Aquabats Super Show called "Cowboy Android", Pinkie Pie can be seen in the background! We were told there would be some sort of reference.

@greenpowerstar: When I first saw advertizements for it, I was all like "Ugh! Why!? What IS this!?" But, then, some more info was given, and I started to think "Well... Maybe, I'll at least give it a look. I did find enjoyment in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, after all."

So, I set the first episode ("ManAnt!") to record. I am ever so glad I did.

As soon as the theme song started, I knew I was in for a great time. I can't remember the last time I ever laughed so hard!

It isn't for everyone. But, my word, does it get TV entertainment right! It doesn't just tell some story, but also has a couple cartoon segments in there, as well. Along with a music video or two.

Update: They got it!

Yeah, the Derpy thing is unfortunate, especially since we were already TOLD that the only place that would have the edit was the iTunes version. Oh, well. We can still find the original on Youtube and the Friendship Express DVD, and hopefully, future DVD releases won't have the edit.

I've never saw Derpy in the small sampling of episodes I watched is she a regular, special guest star, or a 'one in ten' sort of character?

(I still refuse to watch the show based on the fact that I think it's brainwash... and I can tolerate sponge bob in small doses.)

Also, on a completely unrelated note, I saw the new Ultimate Spiderman show recently. It looks like the fine folks at Disney have decidedly given up on new formulaic approaches to storytelling.

Apparently, by combining ideas they developed that will probably never work with good ideas that they only know works well for their competition, they've essentially created something that expresses few, if any, of the qualities I've come to expect from spider man.

It's kind of like they've combined 'The Emperor's New Groove' with 'Teen Titans' featuring Spiderman as the monkey from 'Madagascar.'

With so many ways to tell a story it seems a shame they cannot think of a better way to tell a well known story from Peter Parker's point of view without making him come off like an unoriginal johnny come lately.

Derpy was originally a background character, but the animators made a small error and made her eyes... well, derpy. I am terrible at explaining, so just type in "Derpy hooves" on google images to see for yourself. She is probably the biggest part of the fandom, and the creators later acknowledged this by putting her in the show in Season 2 Episode 14 for about 2 minutes, as a little nod to us. Then people complained that this small part implied she's making fun of mentally disabled people, and she got changed for the itunes version.

Also, how do you consider the show brainwash? This isn't me being butthurt at you, just curious as to why.

@AuraX:

Sorry, in order for me to be specific about what's wrong with it I'd have to watch it again. It's not that I don't get the show, I actually like cartoons despite the fact that I'm in my twenties. Let me assure you, while not as blatantly obvious as Disney, there is an unhealthy amount of social programing going on.

I fear that people watching the show are being manipulated to a spectacular degree. Also, based on what I remember, there is the matter of Queen/princess Celestia and her nebulous idea of what is good and righteous. Sorry, being evil under the cover of effective innocence doesn't really appeal to me.

My little pony FIM is like 'Tico and the golden wings.' It looks like it a good story at first, but then you think about it and realize this isn't modeling the sort of behavior you want children imitating.

Personally, I caught a whiff of three episodes about humility, every one of them stinks. They wouldn't know humility if it slapped them in the face.

I don't know if That's the main recurring theme of the show, but it seems an awful lot like they would have figured it out before teaching it.

Regarding the whole Derpy thing, I was looking at the TvTropes page for the episode, and I was surprised to learn that most of the people who were offended by her just wanted her voice changed. Most of them were actually upset about the "underping" and other changes. So, really, it was more about the voice than the eyes the whole time. No one was offended by the "wall-eyes," as you once put it. It was the voice. And really, I can kind of, sort of see why some people MIGHT be offended by it. Mind you, given that it was a very small minority, the change is still stupid, but most of the blame can be pinned on Hasbro for taking the complaints too far, and not the actual complaints.

Also, there actually WERE some mentally challenged people who actually WERE offended. These people were told to shut up by some of the more vocal fans. Yeah, fans can be jerks sometimes, even MLP fans.

Before, it had used the following graphic in Panel 4, as it was the only front view graphic I had of Twilight, at the time.
