Oh, crud. These ponies are really starting to become more trouble than they're worth!

So... This page contains three "vectors" I set up. Makes everything look much nicer. I'm gonna have to keep this up, aren't I?

I've got a new picture up, of something I used to call "Scorp", until he just became less and less scorpion-like, along with the magnificent realization that this was a very stupid name.
http://lugbzurg.deviantart.com/art/Koro-s-Potentual-Sub-Boss-Concepts-1-302983232
I also can't seem to get armored-plating to look right.

Pinkie Pie's little happy stance came from Scrimpeh, and her little "tounge-squee" of enthusiasm was from SirCinnamon. Derpy Hooves' attempt to get some attention and point out that she's still sticking around was shipped by Thatsgrotesque. Nova Reach's graphics (not from the Pony Creator) were built by myself, using a Pinkie Pie graphic by Greseres and a Twilight Sparkle one by Alexandru. The Lugbzurg one... same thing. Except this came from another Pinkie Pie graphic from Sirspikensons. All of them came out from DeviantART.

@greenpowerstar: "Hours"? You, my dear good sir, are a bit off. You'll find out in a couple weeks.

However, Talking Doughnut already got to find out. One of the advantages he has of meeting me in person is that he was able to see this page, and the next three up to Page 45 before all of you! (This is Page 42. Remember, the cover was #0.)

I brought the pages with me to put in a little "preview trailer" in this tech demo DVD of mine. I just love how it came out. I put the pages to music, and added this awesome bit at the end.

Want... more... Pony!?

Also, for some reason, the moment Nova Reach said "good sir," I started imagining her voice having a British accent.

Also also, you misspelled "muscle" when Nova Reach mentioned "musslemass." Unless that was on purpose...

@greenpowerstar: Talking Doughnut met me over a year before he even WAS "Talking Doughnut". I got him interested in Smack Jeeves. He made himself a Mario comic.
http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=112656
He's still learning. He doesn't have half a decade of experience here, like I do, but, I've been keeping him informed about things that work, and things to stay away from. Mary-Sues, Authory Powers, Constant pain-based humor, etc. I've made a lot of mistakes over the years, so, he doesn't have to.

You might remember him as "Sprinkle Rise". IE: The pegasus pony that gave Pinkie Pie that insane candy several pages back.
http://talesofserendipity.smackjeeves.com/comics/1406524/sweetness/

@Jarkes: Yes. I had to keep Derpy in there. She's still going to have some relevance here, for a bit, even though she isn't speaking, right now.

I never thought of it until you brought it up, but, I think I could totally visualize Nova Reach having a British accent. Little Pip had one, after all.

And, yes... "Musclemass". That was my bad. I'd forgotten about that. I had Word on my computer (that has comics, but no internet). But, when I updated it from '97 to '02 (yes, I'm so far from up-to-date), it started acting all weird. I had been typing the script in there as an extra filter for precautions, up until that point.

@Jarkes: Yes, he got to see four pages early. The last of which was nearly a month in advance. I was setting up this tech demo DVD, and showed him these four pages before I loaded them into a slideshow video. I really like how it came out. And that ending... I just gotta get this trailer-preview thing on YouTube, sometime.

As for what's coming up, and where this was mentioned, I couldn't tell you. All I know is that there is still a heck of a lot more to get into this story. I mean, we STILL haven't even hit the rising action! I have the next three chapters layed out for certain. But, I'm not going to let out who they're about, what genres they will hold, or what events will follow in them.

@AuraX: There's a recolor? Where? Here? Super Mario Whatsit? Give some context, my dear good sir!

@Lugbzurg: Last time I went on a rollercoaster was at Disneyworld. I was as excited as Pinkie at a party. I was thinking, "YEAH! I'm on <insert Disneyworld ride name here> with my friends! This'll be great!" Sometimes my brony friends and I would make references before, during, and after the rides. Before Space Mountain, I noticed a location on the map that said "Luna Port." I told my brony friends, and one asked "Is there a 'Celestia Port?'" I replied, "No, unfortunately." Also--I might have told you this but--during Space Mountain, my brony friends and I yelled at the beginning, "ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAA!" Not all the references were to MLP, though. At the end of Space Mountain, there was a thing that looked like Wheatley, but about 20% stupider (LOL REFERENCES IN STORY ABOUT REFERENCING STUFF), I told my friends, "Hey! It's a stupid Wheatley prototype! ...Either that or a rip-off..." I'd tell you more about my Disney trip, but you probably don't want to hear it. It was a month ago, anyway.

It's funny because when len2surture ships your character I think it's nice/funny, but when my sister does something shipping-related, I'm like "Shut up about Ash and Misty or whatever shipping you're doing! I don't give a crap!"

As for the favorites thing, it happened to me with the Pony Posting Place, and according to AkumaTH it might have to do with with SJ's timed update thing.

As long as we're talking about stories in our heads I've gotten pretty far with the imaginary MLP parody I was thinking up in my head. Apparently Latchkey was so annoyingly irritating that young Thor had Heimdall redirect the rainbow bridge to Jesusland. Since Latchkey is the epic of fail in forming relationships in general, after being rejected by ChumScrubber and Scarcity he decided he would go visit his good buddy Thor and winds up befriending John...the revelator. Naturally, John mistakes him for a divine messenger and Latchkey mistakes him for a servant of Thor as opposed to a servant of God. There's also a conflict involving Paul being a bit of a swindler and con artist, but not really a bad or evil person... except under equestrian law.

However, taking that same amount of time to complete one of the later stages in the game's additional fourth episode (Thy Flesh Consumed, only in the game's Ultimate Edition) would be something of an achievement.

So far, this tool is looking pretty cool. It's very advanced, yet, feels so natural. Plus, its like Adobe DreamWeaver, in the sense that you can go into the level itself that you've built and edit it from inside!

The CD-I games were my favourite.

They tried something new with the series, and tried to give it a good, solid cast of characters.

And Ganon actually looks like somewhat of a threat, instead of just some pig thing.

I'll always love those games.

@greenpowerstar: I've never really played Majora's Mask. Some of the stuff I've heard about how the 3-day time system works (losing most of your ammo, having to fight the bosses again, the Anju and Kafei sidequest, the way saving your game works) just kind of... drives me away from it. Much like the reviews from when the game first came out.

I'm not entirely sure the glycerine chemicals in glue sticks comes from industrial poisons, rubber cement, birdies, or ponies that are past their prime. Modeling and medical glue are quite fragrant because of the toxic synthetic chemicals that are used to produce them. While glue in general is a mystery to me I believe products like glue sticks and paste are made with some sort of milk byproduct.

@AuraX: Well, I've heard that the gameplay, while nearly unplayable if you're playing it with an actual CDI controller (due to awkward button placement), isn't TOO bad if you're playing it on an emulator. It's the infamous cutscenes that get most of the hate (and yet at the same time, they are beloved for their sheer badness).

Eh... Big the Cat's not too bad as a character, but the fishing gameplay in Sonic Adventure was kind of lame.

@lern2surture:
what would you like discuss?

I could talk about lot's of things so long as it isn't MLPFIM related. The question is how to break into a discussion about things unrelated to what is currently being discussed. I'm hoping that by using red herrings and giving away free information I can break past the wall and talk about the things that I enjoy as well.

There are other strategies for getting past a wall to outsiders, such as, leading a discussion by asking questions, using buzz words, and assorted neuro linguistic programming techniques that can engraciate or endear you to others. For instance, by giving compliments while following up with a question you can cause someones brain to explode(or pause) by breaking the pattern of the conversation.

So, I guess what I'm asking L2S is what would you like to talk about?

>>>Start's Rambling like a caffeine addict>>>
I know about the fundamentals of game design, some quantum physics related to astronomy, the history of computing and vidoegames, assorted religions, assorted comics varying from independent to mainstream and digital, movies, and cartoons both foreign and domestic.

I'm currently working on anatomy, lie spotting, character design, and reading body language in order to improve my artistic skills... I've actually been doing that for the past year and change and I'm pretty sure that has also lead to several deficits in my other communication skills. After I'm finished with that, I'm planing on relearning webpage design going over my textbooks and getting an MCSE or current equivalent.
>>>end ramble>>>

Fortunately,I'm not planning on accomplishing these feats all at once. Also, I really need to look into learning financial literacy in order to make me a well rounded and financially secure individual.

Whew, I feel so much better now. Wow, thanks for the chat.

Anyway I'm sure you wanted to talk about something so what's on your mind?

Movies...

reply

"The Amazing Spiderman" isn't something I plan on watching in theaters. I don't even think it has been a decade since the last series ended. I opted out of seeing the "Avengers" on the basis that I felt that each movie in the series leading up to the movie itself was getting progressively worse. For instance, I found "Captain America" particularly bad in comparison to "Thor," and I believe "Iron Man 2" was worse than than both the original, and nothing could top Edward Norton's performance as the hulk. I thought "Thor" was an 'okay' movie in line with "Daredevil." I didn't think it was terrible because I was impressed with the effort they put forth to make it work. I kind of felt that "Thor" fell short of the kind of wackiness one might find in Disney's "Enchanted."

"Captain America" was just an awful movie, worth only one viewing in my opinion. As a result I have this sense that the "Avengers" movie can only be worse, no matter how much I like the writer that remade the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise. Also I'm a bit turned off by the fact hat the _last_ "Avengers" movie was really bad. I don't care if they weren't based on the same source material. So, basically, I'm just going to wait for it to come out on TV.

I'm all for taking risks in order to experience disappointment when it comes to watching movies. In fact, I know that "Skyline" was a better movie than "Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon" and that "Surviving Christmas" is way better than any movie in "The Santa Clause" Trilogy. That said, I also look forward to the new Batman movie.

I am not an English Major, as such I am not one to focus on grammar. However, I can understand the need for communication to at least make sense. As Such, I really don't care if Lie-spotting has a dash in it or not. Also, I believe I was specifically asking Learn2Suture what she wanted to talk about since she has no current interest in bland discussions about Sonic the Hedgehog games.
