Derpy Hooves! I can't hear you when you're flying around up there!

You remember when I said that it hadn't even gotten crazy, yet? Well, it just got crazy. Living Katamari ball isn't enough for my standards. It needs to fly on rocket thrusters, too! Pegasai, beware!

I'm with greenpowerstar on this one. I mean, we haven't seen Lugbzurg, the main character of the comic, in over 30 pages. At least the first ten or so of those were actual plot development, but this is just dragging on far too long, and Lugbzurg seems to be going, "Let's see how much crazier I can make this pointless filler that accomplishes nothing for the grand plot I have planned!"

Seriously, I was amused for a while, but when you only update once a week, it's started to get irritating.

@PDA

So, to be clear, you 2 want more story and less fluff?

Greenpowoerstar is already disappointed because his needs are not being met.

And, according to LugZ, AuraX want's the exact opposite... for the fluff to continue and the story to come to a screeching halt. Therefore, LugZ is the scapegoat and AuraX is the true power behind the throne.

Son of a gun! How does he do it? I really want to know how to acquire such influence over other's minds and guile them into pawnage. Clearly, honesty isn't working.

CONTROVERSY TIME!

What are your favorite starter Pokemon of each region and each of the three types? Here's mine:

Kanto: Bulbasaur
Johto: Totodile
Hoenn: Mudkip
Sinnoh: Chimchar
Unova: Snivy
Grass type: Snivy
Fire type: Torchic
Water type: Tie between Mudkip and Totodile.

@Jarkes: The Fluffle Puff filler is more controversial than that. Besides, we could use more filler. Especially if it means more amusement. There is a definitive end to this scene. I planned it out while you were all still occupied with Bloodlust and Eon.

@Parfait d'Amour: Chikorita's fine, but it's the most challenging starter in Johto, because it only has an advantage in one Gym, and it also has a disadvantage in that very same Gym (Mahogany Town. Supposed to be Ice-type moves are strong against Grass, but the dual typing makes all of the Pokemon there weak to Grass moves).

...Actually, your favorites by region (with the exception of Snivy, since in both sets of Unova games, you will never have an advantage against the first Gym) seem to be the ones the have the hardest time in the early parts of the game.

EDIT: Oh, and happy birthday, btw.

So, anyway... I started a new file on both Pokemon SoulSilver AND Pokemon White 2... I chose Totodile and Snivy, respectively, for my starters. Currently, on my White 2 file (and to a lesser extent on my SoulSilver file), I'm catching a bunch of Pokemon that I like to call "Filler Pokemon:" Pokemon of a specific type that I'll use until I can find the Pokemon of that type that I really want on my team for this file. I did this the first time I played through this one, but I'm going to be shaking things up a little. Meaning I'm going to try to use Pokemon that I've never used on a core team before. I already have a few in mind for both versions. For example, after watching some of Chuggaaconroy's Let's Plays, I've decided that I'm going to have a Koffing on my SoulSilver team. Ironically, I haven't actually watched his Crystal LP, where he had his infamous freakout when he found a Shiny Koffing right when he was talking about wanting to find a Koffing.

@Parfait d'Amour: Okay, fine.

But do you still enjoy this joke?

@Jarkes: Well, to be fair, at least it's not like Jesus Chronicles or, heaven forbid, Fearman. It's slightly more entertaining, shorter, and has more effort. But, a joke shouldn't last this long. Just move on.

Also, for Sonic Future, in my opinion, it was good, but the current story arc has taken too long. Although, that's partially because of all the hiatuses.

Finally...

Kanto: Bulbasaur
Johto: Cyndaquil
Hoenn: Mudkip
Sinnoh: Turtwig
Unova: Can't decide
Grass type: Turtwig
Fire type: Cyndaquil
Water type: Mudkip

@Lugbzurg: You can't rely on one joke for filler this long all at once. I'm glad to finally know it has an end.

So, anyway, I borrowed Pokemon Platinum Version from a friend, and like the other two games I'm playing through right now, I have a few "filler" Pokemon on my team.

I've also decided to have a Zubat on my team, because I'm trying to vary my teams a bit. ...Dear god, it was hard to level up Zubat at first... its moves suck until level 13 when it gets Bite, and it doesn't get Wing Attack until level 17... Fortunately, I managed to get it there just in time for the Eterna Gym.

...I also have an Onix on my team, and it's actually NOT a "filler" slot. I'm having trouble thinking of a nickname though. Can you think of any good nicknames for a twenty-eight feet long rock snake with a huge horn on its head?

...Oh, and I started with Piplup, btw.

I ended up changing my mind about the Onix... My team on Platinum version is now this:

Level 26 Prinplup, nicknamed "Ziggy."
Level 26 Golbat, nicknamed "Kaiketsu."
Level 26 Luxio, nicknamed "Kimba."
Level 27 Gallade, nicknamed "Ruru."
Level 23 Houndour, nicknamed "Boomer."
Level 23 Rhyhorn, nicknamed "Rhinox." (Unfortunately, this Rhyhorn is female, but I couldn't think of any better nicknames)

Thank you for clearing that up... Still, even as parodies they have to be obvious analogs, otherwise the attempt wouldn't be nearly as entertaining...

Also, before you ask. I would think Latchkey, Scarcity, and Chum Scrubber would have obvious analogs. You'll have to figure out NIMBY on your own.

BTW have you seen my PPG parodies?
