So anyway, the backlight of the top screen of my 3DS is busted; the top screen appears much darker than the bottom screen. I had been having this issue for a while, but I could usually remedy it by adjusting the hinges. Now I can't even do that.

Is it worth replacing since it otherwise functions perfectly?

EDIT:

Let's see... spend five minutes every day with each of your co-workers, survey the layout and find out where everything belongs. I don't know what the HR is thinking but apparently these are not qualities they want in new employees also the average american salary in 2008 for college graduates was $18 an hour. So, $12 per hour is more reasonable than $8.50. $8.50 is something they offer to high school graduates and unskilled labor as starting pay.

@Fiora Aroura: I played the demo for A Crack in Time. The Krell Canyon one. Not the "Clank's Subconscious" one. I played it over and over again while it was at GameStop every time I stopped by the mall. That's all I've ever gotten to do. But that will change soon. Well, maybe early next year, I suppose. I've got other things I've got to get first before settling on any game consoles.

Also, considering you've enjoyed Jak and Daxter so much, I strongly suspect you'd get a kick out of Banjo-Kazooie and likely Donkey Kong 64, as well. Hope you like collecting things, 'cause DK64 made it into the Guinness World Records for that!

@Lugbzurg: Just a demo? D8 That kinda...makes me sad. The game is very fun. I really enjoyed the "Multiple Clanks" parts ^^ Krell Canyon, if I remember right, is where Alister teaches you how to use the hover boots? The best hover booting moment is at the end when your fighting Nefarious and he blows up the platforms and you have to jump on the debris to keep up to him. I was so focused on not falling off I didn't even realize I was holding my breath XD I know you'll like it.

I can never pronounce Banjo Kazooie right X( I always call it Banjo koo-sie.

I'm surprised you like Conker 8/ That game is full of all kinds of vulgarity. I was rather appalled by it.

(Oh, I must also recommend Starfox: Adventures ^^)

Yes, Conker's Bad Fur Day is one of my favorite games on the Nintendo 64. it is one of the most creative, masterful platformers I have ever enjoyed. Besides, it doesn't have rape jokes like Pewdiepie. Just wait 'till you find out how it ends...

@Lugbzurg: Donkey Kong 64 was one of the games that really got me into gaming. Before that, I had had a Sega Genesis, but it never really interested me. Then I got the Jungle N64 bundle that came with DK64, and everything changed.

Of course, I could never beat the darn thing, owing to stuff like how it required you to play through the original Donkey Kong arcade game TWICE, as well as several other factors.

As for Conker, I think we've discussed before how the Xbox remake of that is actually MORE censored than the original N64 version. ...Doesn't the game end on a bit of a downer?

And as for Banjo-Kazooie... in all honesty, if I get an Xbox 360 rather than a PS3, it would probably be solely for the Xbox Live Arcade version of that, since many of the games I want on the PS3 are also on the 360.

@Jarkes: You're gonna have to build up some platforming skills if you wanna beat the original Donkey Kong; Shiguru Miyamoto's debut game!

Conker's Bad Fur Day has one of the most incredible videogame endings I have ever seen. Better than the recent Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, even.

Banjo-Kazooie on 360? Well, there were some slight changes, like how your music note count in a level won't go back to zero when you leave. As soon as you collect any given music note, it stays collected, forever and ever. I just hope they fixed that one music note glitch involving Bottles' painting. That was never a problem on the N64 version.

@Fiora Aroura: Defending the squirrel army against nazi-like teddy bears, returning the stolen beehive (twice), rolling around great big balls of poo, peeing on fire imps, bringing anthropomorphic cheese to a hungry mouse, riding a bull, and battling hoardes of zombies are just some of the many things that occur during the many misadventures of Conker the Squirrel, who is actually a pretty nice guy.

I remember years ago, reading an old Teen Titans comic book, and there was an advertizement for Up Your Arsenal that said "ridiculously-powerful new weapons and gadgets. You'll want to spend time with each and every one of them." I found it rather amusing. Years later, I was in the car with some guy, and during the trip, his sister asked if he was "drawing Ratchet & Clank again?" I recognized the names, and we started talking about it. He got me interested, so I started reading up on it. I saw several playthroughs during that time.

In fact, I just remembered that I have played a little more. There was a demo of All 4 One that I tried out once.
