And thus, the Fluffle Puff Saga has finally caught up with the plot! There are still more setpiece moments to come!

Wasn't "Oh My Katamari!" actually the name of one of the games?

@Jarkes: I believe there was a "Touch my Katamari" for the DS. That might be what you're thinking of.

@Lugbzurg: I wasn't even aware there WAS one on the DS (I'm betting it was Japan-only), so that's probably not what I was thinking of.

@Jarkes: "One day, a boy asks his Dad "Who is more awesome, the King of All Cosmos or his principal?". When the dad is trying to make up his mind, the mom says they are both equally awesome. The king overhears the conversation. Shocked, he becomes a train wreck. Somewhere else, a slacker named Goro, who puts off studying for video games, television and the Internet, sees a news broadcast telling of the King's apparent depression. Goro believes that this is his moment to start his life anew, so he runs off to make a new lifestyle for himself."
It came out in the US over a year ago. Though, my mistake. It's not on the DS. Touch my Katamari is on the PlayStation Vita.

Lord Dragon Claw's "Your summon is pink" has been updated. I realize it updated 20 days ago, but I don't obsessively check up on fanfiction as often as you might think.

It's been years since I played a good fighting game. The last time I played one was when "Georgia Rule" was still in theaters. Would you say it's enjoyable, derivative, a post modern mess, or about average?

@Parfait d'Amour:

Where's the rest of the article about ponies being an occult trap?

I'm only seeing part 4.

EDIT:

Also, I find it shocking that I could spot within the first episode that they were pandering (not to mention manipulating) the will of corporate interests and the status quo through propaganda and it took this devoted christian three years?

Now that's some creative integrity right there.

ROTFLOL

I'm surprised it wasn't brought up that the ponies are racist and sexist.

So, anyway, I've been playing the GBA version of Final Fantasy VI again... I've never beaten it, and this is my third attempt.

...God, even with the GBA's lower sound quality, that opera scene will always be beautiful.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
FALSE TEACHER...
STAHP!!!

@Jarkes: Final Fantasy? At first, I thought you said "Fire Emblem" for some reason. But another good RPG I could recommend for the GameBoy Advance (and PSP) would have to be Riviera: The Promised Land.

So, anyway, regarding Final Fantasy VI Advance... I've had the game for several years, and I NEVER realized that in order to make a spell target multiple enemies or allies, you have to press either the L button (enemies) or R button (allies), NOT the Left (enemies) or Right (allies) buttons on the D-Pad, which is how it works in EVERY OTHER FINAL FANTASY GAME THAT LETS YOU DO THAT. All this time, and I thought the game simply wasn't letting me use multi-target spells.

Of course, the Left and Right thing is so ingrained that I'm probably going to keep trying to do it that way.

Also FF VI best FF.

Hey, LugZ. By now I'm sure you've gotten to know everyone that you will be working with.

If you have accomplished this through spending five minutes of your time with each one then congratulations are in order.

You now need to put down their names in a note book and write three things you like about them. Then look at the notebook every morning.

Just be sure the notebook you're using isn't a recovered deathnote. Although I could think of worse fates than to be killed off with kindness.

You know, I actually read a manga with a similar plot device only in that instance the protagonist came across God's notebook. He spent most of his time trying to prevent the things in the notebook from happening. I genuinely believe this was what inspired Deathnote. Same means different ends.

@GabrielsThoughts: You talking about Future Diary, perhaps? That's something I've been meaning to get into. Just after I'm done with Dragon Ball Z, followed by Higurashi: When They Cry.

Also, yesterday, I watched The Truman Show. Tomorrow, I'll be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Why? For research. Research for General Generic. Yeah, just think of The Truman Show set inside Call of Duty, and you've pretty much got General Generic in a nutshell.

I remember there being an article about MLP being occult a long time ago, evidence being that Rainbow Dash can move clouds and Faust is a name of a devil or something.

Unfortunately, it is long lost to the wayback machine.
