Wait, so DNA hasn't been discovered yet in the pony world? That doesn't really make sense when you consider the Cake twins...

Also, I knew Nova Reach was crazy, but I didn't know she was THAT crazy...

Speaking of her, can I use her in my Kirby/MLP crossover fanfic, Kirby: Pony Squad, where she would basically act the same way she does here, but towards the Kirby characters?

Also, suddenly, Derpy does her best Liarjack impression in panel 5. Something tells me you used that vector as a reference for that panel.

Incidentally, this is one of the few "vector comics" I've seen that doesn't outright suck. To clarify what I mean, it mostly consists of modified vectors and backgrounds from the show, rather than you drawing it yourself and trying to closely match how it appears on the show. But you actually manage to make it work somehow.

@Kurona: Incidentally, I made this page right after I finished watching The Future Diary.

@Jarkes: D.N.A. was never mentioned. Just some basic breeding trivia.

Nova Reach? And Kirby? I think I'd like to see this!

All the Derpy vectors were pre-made, by the way.

I don't think I've seen any pony vector comics that had a story that went on this long. I can't quite draw them right and it would take WAY too long to do so and keep up with the release schedule. With vectors, I can have both quality and quantity. Plus, a few of the jokes here I would never have even thought of if it weren't for the vectors I've collected. Like this one for example.

@Kurona: It's an animé.

It involves Deus Ex Machina; this overlord of time. He's dying. So, in order to find a successor, he holds a survival game between twelve participants. Each one holds a diary that predicts the future in some unique way. The last one left alive takes Deus' place.

I mention this because of Yuno Gasai, who must've rubbed off on Nova Reach for that one panel, somehow.

There is a point in 'Future Diary' where I wished it had gone in another direction. I felt the ending was awful. I feel the same way about 'Code Geass.' I really don't like how the Japanese romanticize death.

Especially when it seems like they're being stupid about it.

I thought the whole thing moved a bit fast and seemed rushed. I was completely shocked by the unnecessary bromance.

Clearly, they were grabbing at straws to pique audience interest. I found 'Eden of the East' to be much better. Obviously, since the people responsible for 'Ghost in the Shell' were involved, the pacing and action were better planned. The pacing is a little slower than 'Justice League Unlimited.' And, it isn't as bogged down by politics as 'Ghost in the Shell.'

So, I've been watching Season 1 of FiM again...

There are some very weird characterization quirks that hadn't been ironed out early on; Rainbow Dash in particular is very mean towards Fluttershy in Dragonshy, a far cry from their later relationship (and apparently earlier relationship too, judging by flashbacks). And not just characterization; The Ticket Master had that very weird moment at the end where all six of the ponies levitated their own tickets (though the episode was worth it for the Benny Hill-style sequence).

Also, I got 3D Dot Game Heroes, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, and Batman: Arkham City on the PS3 for my birthday. ...Well, okay, my birthday's in a few days, but I got them early because I'll be so busy that day.

...I'm not sure what's more baffling about Ultimate Genesis Collection: the lack of the lock-on functionality with Sonic 3, Sonic 2, and Sonic and Knuckles, or the fact that Gunstar Heroes isn't on there at all, despite being one of the best Sega Genesis games ever.

Also, wasn't she the one levitating all the tickets?

@Lugbzurg: Maybe that was the intent, but the way it's animated, it looks like each member of the cast is carrying their own ticket by levitating it. Not to mention, when Spike tries to take one of the tickets (before he gets his own), it's pulled away as Applejack passes by him, which is clearly meant to indicate that Applejack was the one who took it.

As for Rainbow Dash, I suppose one way of looking at her behavior in Dragonshy is her being worried about Fluttershy's safety, but playing up the annoyance she probably was still feeling.

...Actually, I think Rainbow Dash is far more of a tsundere than Twilight ever was.

@Lugbzurg:
I'm not really into elitism. I believe that it's a progressive philosophy which leads down the slippery slope of incest, and promotes the idea that those with the best chance of success get the most opportunities.

I hold more favor with meritocracy, but even that is wrong to a certain extent. And, when corrupted by marxist socialism, it leads to the downfall of the free education system in an open market.

Paul and Peter were on the elitist side of the spectrum in general. Paul, being a Roman citizen was conditioned to value credentials, whereas Peter valued work experience. In my opinion, both men wanted to be king, yet neither were able to completely appreciate the value of basic human rights, freedoms, or ingenuity, so far as their ideal of peace was concerned.

As for personality flaws, I think Peter had violent temper-tantrums and used his anger to control people. Paul on the other hand was a sociopath, assassin, and had respect in the Machiavellian sense not the more traditional exploitive sense. Not that this is relevant two thousand years later. I just thought it was interesting thing to consider when reading the bible.

I think life experience is separate from emotional experience, and work experience. Just as I believe art is subjective, and accomplishments, personal or otherwise are not to be diminished, blemished, or eliminated. I also hold the belief that art is something that repairs the body, mind, and soul.

And no, Sonic '06 was not the werewolf one. That would be Sonic Unleashed. Sonic '06 was the one that was basically a disaster in every way.
