He seems to be up to something pretty devious. But what could be so devious that he'd need those goofy-looking things?

Okay, so I turn my Wii on for the first time in months since getting the PS3, and I try to play Super Mario RPG on the Virtual Console. However, apparently playing that on a six-years-old HDTV (which the PS3 is also hooked up to) screws up the framerate and makes the gameplay all choppy, screwing up timing. And since the game's battle system is all about timing, that's a problem. The worst part is, as far as I can tell, none of my other Wii, GCN, or Virtual Console games are affected like this.

I don't see the advantage of a wii. I want to get the move system for the ps3 so I can play the game that fuses Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly cooper franchises into one giant ball of awesome.

So, I've been watching Power Rangers Dino Thunder lately... Good god, Mesogog is far, far creepier than Lord Zedd EVER was.

EDIT: ...I'm not the only fan of Power Rangers that comments around here, am I?

@Jarkes:

I was a fan right up until I turned about 20 or so, although I blanked out ZEO from my mind... I guess I stopped watching up until rangers galaxy and probably didn't pick up on the show again until I came across the space ranger one with the snake dog commander thing. I somehow thought it was the same continuity as Galaxy. Keep in mind this was before I started college (when I was around 25).

The follow up of Disney's mystic force was a total Turd with a capital "T". You don't just switch from science fiction to fantasy and halve the quality without some blowback. Not to mention the fact that if you complain about it publicly you will be humiliated.

I haven't seen more than three episodes of dino thunder apparently Tommy's the phantom black ranger or something and there are only four rangers' now with the white one being evil.

I wouldn't call myself a devoted fan I've never purchased any of the toys or movies or anything like that.

@GabrielsThoughts: Actually, save for RPM, all of the Power Rangers seasons are in the same continuity.

@Jarkes:
<<Looks up RPM in wikipedia>>

Was RPM the one with the talking guinea pig?

I think I saw one episode of that one as well. Mystic force was much worse, although I think RPM was all green screen, so basically no budget.

I don't think I've watched any of the shows well enough to know who anyone is other than Tommy. The actor must be one of the producers and own stock in the franchise.

@GabrielsThoughts: That would be Ninja Storm. RPM was the one where they took the incredibly goofy Sentai Go-Onger... and turned it into a post-apocalyptic series. Not kidding.

And no, RPM was NOT all green-screen.

Like I mentioned earlier. I wasn't (am not currently) a consumerist advocate of the Power Rangers. I'm sure if I had a desire to buy the action figures I'd have a better memory for the characters within the show.

I kind of remember it promoting racism on the playground. People arguing as to whether or not there was a green ranger.

I was more of a beetle borgs fan myself.
