They are little pains, aren't they? Then again, that's probably not what the title meant.

So, something I've noticed that Lugbzurg and I both actually agree on: We both really, really like Sonic Heroes. Though admittedly, I have a few problems with it, mostly the fact that the four teams play fairly similarly, and they all go through the same stages and bosses with minimal differences, which REALLY doesn't make sense from a story perspective.

@Jarkes: Well, Sonic 3 & Knuckles did the same thing, which was the type of game that Sonic Heroes was trying to emulate. By Sonic Adventure 2, I think Sega may have been burnt out on epic blockbuster narratives for a bit and just wanted to go back to the roots for a more relaxing design.

@Lugbzurg: Yeah, but in the case of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, it's clear that Knuckles's story takes place AFTER Sonic & Tails's stories. It's much harder to figure out the continuity of events in Sonic Heroes.

And hey, Team Dark's story leads directly into Shadow the Hedgehog, though there WAS a translation goof-up in their final cutscene.

See, Rouge says that Shadow might be a robot, but the Japanese word for "robot" is the same as the word for any artificial person, such as a clone. Hence Omega's subsequent line about cloning. It's not as bad as some of the other translation goof-ups in the game. "Look at all those Eggman's robots!" springs to mind. And the funny thing about THAT one is that the goof-up is only in the subtitles. Tails actually speaks the line properly ("Look at all those Eggman robots!")

...By the way, what do you think of the Sonic Advance trilogy and the original Sonic Rush? You once said that you didn't really like Sonic Rush Adventure, but I'm curious as to your thoughts on Dimps's earlier Sonic titles. Personally, I'm not too fond of the Advance titles, mainly for the significant difficulty spikes in the first two games' fifth zones (In both of those games, the fifth zone was where I hit a brick wall, so I was never able to unlock Knuckles in Advance 2) that they put a little TOO much emphasis on exploration when it came to the Special Stages (ESPECIALLY Advance 2). But I thought Rush was quite fun.

I recently finished reading the first twelve issues of Adam Blade's "Beast Quest" Saga, the first special edition issue, and the fourth issue of the dark realm series.

I feel like a genius, no doubt because it was written at a third grade reading level, and possibly because Tom is not a tactical genius. I've figured out the formula quickly enough. So, after the fist twelve, maybe even the first six, you might just want to get the first and sixth issue of the series.

Now that that's over with I might tackle Atlas Shrugged.

So this is what you've been doing all this time, Lug.

You probably don't remember me, but I know you. I went under a different name back then, so you wouldn't recognize me.

I wouldn't mind posting more often myself.

However, then we'd have like five back to back posts of me and people would accuse me of trolling.

I feel better about posting after giving somebody else the opportunity to speak, because I'm that kind of awesome.

Alternatively, I may wait a few hours between posts if I think of something that strikes my fancy unrelated to something I mentioned earlier.

Wait a minute... AHH!

So, have you been designing flash games at this point?

I'm currently watching BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo. After that is likely to be Fooley Cooley and My Bride is a Mermaid. I think I'll finally be getting to Angel Beats after that.

@Lugbzurg:

My bride is a mermaid is awful in my opinion. The characters are more annoying than BoBoBO-Bo Bo_BoBo and the dub, I've heard some annoyingly shrill voices in my time but DAMN this one is takes the prize.

I can't help but feel I've seen the shotgun wedding plot before in some off hand 60's classic.

I want to see "Oh Edo Rocket" and "Mongolian chop squad." Plus, I'll bet Jarkes will love this, "Sonic X" is on Hulu.

I recently started watching "The Hentai, The Prince(ss), and The stony cat." I enjoyed it more than " The World God Only Knows."

And, I recently came across a creepy post scarcity horror story that takes place a thousand years in the future where they kill off children if they don't display some special skill or talent by the time they've graduated from elementary school. Which is ironic since they appear to have regressed back to the bronze age. And, if you thought you were safe by just graduating elementary school, consistent failure in middle school leads to unexplained disappearances as well.

I'm surprised none of the parents taught their children how to fight back or defend themselves. Although, I suppose it would be more of a burden on the agrarian economy. Conformity is prized after all...

I believe it's called "Shin Sekai Yori" and it's definitely going to give "Little Witch Academia" a run for its money in the animation department.

I dropped the name "Inferno" A LONG time ago. I've even pretty much dropped the Sonic fandom altogether.
Actually, no, I haven't designed any flash games. I've moved past the yearning to work on flash and I'm currently learning C++. I'm not dissing flash, It's a good platform for some, but I don't see it as useful for what I want to do. Hopefully, I might someday release a game onto Steam. Which is a convenient segway, I found your Steam profile. Friend meh? :3

@Blazing_Cha0s: I've been doing a lot of growing and maturing over the years, myself. Looking at comments from 2007 and sometime onwards is a bit embarrassing. Once I joined Smack Jeeves, that was my first experience with interacting with people over the internet freely, aside from the Sonlight Forums, which is pretty strict and sheltered. I didn't visit it very often.

I'd like to be learning C++ myself someday. I've got big plans for the videogame industry. I mean, have you seen my DeviantART profile!?
http://lugbzurg.deviantart.com/

I could possibly start releasing such games on Steam... maybe. I need to understand the process better. I think I read somewhere that you have to turn over 30% of your game profits over to Valve just for having your game sit on their shelf. But I need to confirm weather this is true or not. That's kind of important because 30% seems rather excessive.

But speaking of games being released on Steam, you know what I really hope to get on Steam? THIS.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DmBipY4CCo
I might as well buy it on Steam as well as the Wii U just to be supportive. Because I am starved for this genre!

They have both versions Dub and Sub of the show. I thought it might be possible use it to learn japanese. I don't know if they're different as far as dialog or not.

A couple other shows with both languages would be "Mongolian Chop Squad," "One Piece," and "Birdy the Mighty." I think I might actually be able to pick up a few more words than what i've picked up reading fan-fiction.

@Lugbzurg: Oh my glob. A N64-styled Collectathon platformer? I might as well just shove my wallet in their face. I couldn't watch the video(streaming trouble), but I did research the title. I grew up on games like Donkey Kong 64 and Super Mario 64(My first game), so I WILL have my eyes on this.

I don't mind 30%, depending on how much the game costs. I respect Valve enough to be okay with this. If you don't like 30%, you could always do what Notch did with Minecraft and just sell it yourself.

Hey, how do you do bold words?

@Blazing_Cha0s: Donkey Kong 64 was the game that got me into video games, particularly Nintendo systems. Before that, I had a Sega Genesis, but I didn't have a lot of games for it, and the games I did have either bored me, were too difficult, or had some serious nightmare fuel (I was 5 when I had that thing). Then I got an N64 for Christmas when I was about 7, and suddenly I was hooked on Nintendo.
