Ok, so the "twilight" in the title doesn't actually have anything to do with the "Twilight" that most bronies would immediately think of. Nor does it tie into a powerful and dark (yet not necessarily evil) energy from another universe. But at least this explains the weird apparent time-shifts some of you may have assumed existed at one point.

Bit of a grammar mistake: "Not quite All the focus of my dark magic..."

Should be a period after "quite."

Also, your description:

"Nor does it tie into a powerful and dark (yet not necessarily evil) energy from another universe."

You would be referring to the Twilight Realm from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in that sentence, correct?

Also (and I apologize for posting multiple comments), you never DID answer my question about your thoughts on the Sonic Advance trilogy and the original Sonic Rush...

@Kurona: I'll keep that in mind for future reference.

So anyway, I started watching Chuggaaconroy's Link's Awakening and Super Mario 64 DS LP's... I'm 16 episodes into Link's Awakening (and I got through 13 of those just when watching it yesterday) and 10 episodes into Super Mario 64 DS... At some point, I really need to watch his Pokemon Colosseum, Majora's Mask, and Super Paper Mario LP's...

13 episodes of something in one day? Please. I watched all 51 episodes of Full Metal Alchemist within last weekend.

Which version of FMA? I couldn't stand "Brotherhood," at least not the english series version, because it was so radically different from the first version it alienated me, and I really like Rashomon styled storytelling.

Original.

Though to be fair, many fans can't stand the original FMA anime because it's so radically different to the original FMA manga, which came before both animes.

Several of the movies are infrequently available for free on hulu. have you seen any of those?

I think I saw the TOS post anime movie and one that reminded me of "Avatar: the last air bender."

I kind of am not a fan of anime in general, and I'm only watching both FMAs and Code Geass for now.

When you get to the second season of Code Geass. I recommend you stop watching after episode eight. It has a stinky end. And, I believe your soul would be much better off for not seeing it. An act of self sacrifice shouldn't be that stupid. Especially from someone who's a reported genius.

@Kurona: I actually prefer the original FMA anime BECAUSE it's so different from the manga. And besides, it kind of had to be; the author of the manga didn't want the anime to end up like Dragonball Z or Bleach (with endless filler because of overtaking the manga), so after a certain point, she told the producers of the first anime, "I'm not nearly finished yet, do your own thing."

Brotherhood is basically the manga in animated form, which if you ask me is kind of unnecessary.

@Jarkes:
Just because it's different doesn't mean it's good. Non-accuracy CAN be a good thing, the Pokemon Adventures manga being a good example. But... eh, I personally didn't enjoy FMA as much as I thought I would.

I'm hoping FMA:B will be better for me.
