Yowza-Wowza. Girly hobbies don't often get used to the point of such violent potential as this.

At first i was thinking he slammed her into the ground in the fourth panel. The arrow speed energy beam really blends into the background because of it's alignment with the window and the conditioning of the word balloons. Although I must give you props for avoiding a perfectly staged fart joke.

Those sorts of things are incredibly difficult to resist. Especially against an enemy like Rarity, that girl has a fart attack in her future, I guarantee it. If someone hasn't laid one out for her yet you could be an innovator. B')

Did she just go all Mr. Fantastic on that demon-pony-thing, or was that just a poor choice of vectors?

...I'm surprised I'm still reading this given how Ultimate_Yoshi's review summed up what I had been thinking about this comic for quite some time. Maybe I just want to see how this trainwreck finally ends.

I mean, it's ENTERTAININGLY bad, but still...

...I did really like Nova Reach, though. I'm surprised that Ulti's review didn't even mention her.

@Jarkes:

To be fair, cartoon characters are all as fantastically malleable as silly putty.

@Jarkes: I like the idea of "So bad it's good" and I shall embrace it. I tried to take this seriously when I first started it, but that just isn't working out. Go, cheese factor!

actually, I recall he did mention Nova Reach and absolutely hated her color scheme.

@Lugbzurg:

It's not your fault, time wounds most artists and heels (heals?). You don't honestly think I was "lazy" Nobody, including a mary sue character like Twilight Sparkle, puts forth an effort to make something and thinks to themselves "Gee, I'm in a hurry to get things done. What's the least I can do with the amount of time and resources available to me? I know! Every action (person?, resource? Thing?) must have purpose, because time is precious.

So, I'm going to sacrifice my valuable free time and energy to create something no body in their right mind wants or cares about, because I clearly have nothing better to do.

Duuuurr (brr) instead of improving my self through practice and effort, (becasue we know those don't make perfect) I should really be spending my free time accepting the responsibilities and burdens being delegated to me by self hating Princess Whitey and introjected upon me by the confluence of myself and others.

Forget about self improvement or enrichment from this point onwards. I have responsibilities to everyone but myself. " Twilight cries because part of her soul just died, but no one noticed because she didn't want to be a Debbie Downer. Not only that, but it's entirely possible Pinkie Pie already cornered the market on fragmented souls and wounded spirits (assuming the Mane 6 and Spike aren't all part of Twilight to begin with). Because, if that's the case, It's not genuine empathy if she's merely an empty vessel ((Obviously Twilight's the control subject in a social experiment or she's the NPC of the group ))and all of the others are just transferring their projections of her personality onto themselves.

"What if it's true?" cries that small voice of her inner wounded child before it's just barely snuffed out like the heart of a starving kitten. "I know!" prompts a voice from within with a little too much demonic glee. "What if the cake is a lie? What if there is no point, there never was any meaning, and the whole thing is just one big game?

I mean sure, there have to be winners and there has to be losers. If it were a game, then the spectator sees more than the players,the managers, the overseers, and the programmers... Right!? The greedy are with you always, so even they need book keepers." and so Twilight eventually moonlights as the projectionist in the back of the theater while the prisoners watch the opening sequence to the first episode of a grand adventure on the cave wall.

Meanwhile, the wolves are guarding the entrance to the cave and protecting their book keeper, as she entertains the meat, after all, it's the least they can do to distract the rabbits who cause all the trouble before they gather, grither, and gobble them up.

DUDE! I've totally been banned from "Ulti Reviews" It's a new record. I didn't even have [to] antagonize Yoshi or provoke anyone else for that matter. I clearly have a gift.

@Lac:
I know. I have many potential problems and concerns. But, I also have a desire to change and I'm consistently persistent.

Soon the world will know what has been cooking in the strange places of my mind; and soon, I will have followers, and money, and my eccentricities will no longer matter. I will be well spoken and communicate my ideals easily and effectively in such a manner that everyone will bend over backwards to help me.

Sure, It hasn't happened yet. Because, if I had the skills i was promised before I signed up for college "after I graduated." I wouldn't have had to spend the last few years studying how to prepare stage and deliver, in order to seem competent enough for a job I know full well a high school student could pull off. There is a big difference between confidence and arrogance. It's not my job to instruct the person hiring me how identify the difference.

I was a Grade A college student too. Memorization of the caliber expected of me during an interview was meant for actors, astronauts, athletes, and academics. If I wanted to prepare for constant testing I would have become a teacher not a visual media student. I could have graduated much sooner and my degree would have been held in much higher regard than the handful of certifications it represents. Which, supposedly, could be picked up within less than 8 months of employment if you are considered worthy.

EDIT: However, since I have a bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, I am now the envy of those who either didn't follow through with college or gave up.

That's too bad. I haven't even watched the show and I'm dreading the One time power through, I need to do, in order to make a decent parody.

I can't tolerate "One Piece" and "Bleach" for long periods of time either, but it must be done for research. I can write stories pretty easily, and develop characters at will using Solitaire, PEACE, BASIC, GOTE, SWOT, and STAR. I will admit that I prefer American to Japanese cartoons. For some reason I think more work and effort went into the creation of American cartoons than when I watch anime. Personal preference and bias I guess.

@GabrielsThoughts: One Piece and Bleach are pretty average, typical stuff. I'd sooner recommend Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Code Geass.
