@GabrielsThoughts: But that's what I've been doing for, like... over a hundred pages... Have my efforts gone unnoticed...?

@Lugbzurg:
Yes, yes they have. Especially the page with pinky pie and the cardboard cut out. I apologize if my words offend, but at least your efforts weren't completely unrewarded or ignored. To the best of my knowledge my backgrounds remain unseen regardless of detail. Even before the addition of color, I was forced to learn perspective.

I've even gone so far as to study mime because I didn't quite understand what an early reviewer meant when they claimed there were no backgrounds featured as part of the first hundred pages and more than 2/3d's of that part of comic was in color. In fact, everything after Take a Chance arc was in full color as well. And, I even platformed in to assorted forums where I handed out commission work and fan comics to get people to vote on which issues they wanted to remain in color or passive line art.

I mean, obviously, my efforts were eventually rewarded as well, but at least you have a verifiable social presence. I have a book on halftones I haven't read yet, but maybe when I'm through I'll measure up.
